Mini-Soccers consists of a combined practice/play session. It is designed to introduce children to the game of soccer through play and small-sided games. For the Spring season all sessions are on Friday nights. 

This is a parent/child program. A parent or guardian must be present at each session. BSC does not do fundraisers, but we do need at least 2 coaches per team. Please volunteer when you register online.



Any boy or girl that will be 4 years old on the day of the first game. See the calendar for exact dates. This program is limited to 80 participants only.


2015 Cost

Bolingbrook Residents: $95.00 and Non-Residents: $110.00 (this includes the $10.00 field maintenance fee and the $15.00 non-resident fee).


What is Included

Players will provided with: Soccer jersey, shorts, socks, #3 soccer ball, participation award, and a snack after each game. A picture packet is included with the Fall season only, it includes: 1 5x7, 8 Large Wallets, 4 Small Wallets, 1 Photo Button, 1 8x10 Team Photo.


When/Where are Practices and Games?

Spring Mini-Soccers are on Friday nights 6-7pm for the first 4 games. Practices and games are held during that same time. There are no additional practice times. All games/practices will be at the West Lily Cache soccer fields. See the Fields menu for maps and directions. See the Mini-Soccers calendar for dates.



There will be 8 teams. Each Mini-Soccers team will play on 2 small adjacent fields simultaneously. The 10 player team is split into 2 squads of 5. The coach and assistant coach each run one field. There will be kickoffs, and coaches may help with throw-ins. There are no goalies, fouls, offsides, or scorekeeping.



All Mini-Soccers players must adhere to the same equipment rules as In-House AT ALL SESSIONS!


All players must have:

Required Not Allowed
tennis shoes or soccer cleats earrings, even if taped
shinguards necklaces or bracelets
socks covering the shin guards jewelry (except medic alert)
shorts or sweatpants hair beads
longsleeve layers (in cold weather) hooded sweatshirts (unless the hood is tucked in)
jersey worn as the top layer glasses that are not sports glasses
soft knit cap (in cold weather) football or baseball cleats. They have a toe cleat.
water bottle baseball caps
#3 soccer ball  


The Mini-Soccers program is overseen by BSC board members and assisted by young adults in the soccer program. Any suggestions that you have to improve the program will be appreciated.
